Aspire Special Events, part of the Silverstone-based Aspire Group, has scooped a three-year deal with the Country Land & Business Association (CLA) Annual Game Fair.
Worth £1.5m in turnover, the contract will see Aspire provide catering and hospitality services at the event, which has around 1,000 exhibitors and more than 140,000 visitors.
A team of 300 Aspire Special Events staff will be catering for more than 16,000 people over the three days, providing hospitality in the VIP marquee, the President’s Suite and four hospitality chalets.
Aspire will also provide retail catering in the CLA members bar and restaurant, Hunters deli restaurant, and Real Ale kitchen and bar.
In addition, Aspire will provide a number of bars for visitors to the fair, including the Pimms Bar, a Pimms & Champagne Bar, the Round Bar and the innovative Bus Bar, which is an original 1967 Routemaster refurbished into a functioning bar, creating a unique focal point at the event.
Andrew Crawford, CLA Game Fair director, added: “Every year we look to build on our achievements from the previous year and we believe we’re doing that in 2012 with the overall event, including the catering and hospitality.”
The CLA Game Fair is a three-day event and this year it is being held at Belvoir Castle, near Grantham in Leicestershire, from 20 to 22 July. The CLA Game Fair celebrates the countryside and showcases the importance of field sports and country activities to the rural economy.
