Iconic Indian restaurant Bukhara to open pop-up at Sheraton Park Tower

Iconic Indian restaurant Bukhara is to come to London as the Sheraton Park Tower hotel in Knightsbridge plans to run a two-week pop-up restaurant next month.

Established 35 years ago and housed in the Luxury Collection ITC Maurya Hotel in New Delhi, Bukhara is one of the most acclaimed Indian restaurants in the world.

Running for two weeks from 17 May to 1 June, Bukhara at Sheraton Park Tower will be overseen by ITC Hotels corporate chef Manjit Gill (pictured).

Signature dishes will include Sikandari Raan (marinated whole leg of spring lamb); Murgh Malai kebab (creamy chicken kebab); and Dal Bukhara (whole black lentils, tomatoes, ginger and garlic slow-cooked over coals for 18 hours).

The pop-up restaurant, which will be open for dinner only, will be run under the creative direction of designer Waris Ahluwalia.

"The Luxury Collection has always celebrated exceptional culinary experiences as a way to transport travellers and bring a location to life," said Paul James, global brand leader, St. Regis and the Luxury Collection Hotels & Resorts. "Given Londoners' proclivity for Indian cuisine, we are excited to introduce this legendary culinary institution to Britain's gastronomic scene."
