UK Ethnic restaurants recognised in the 2012 Asian Curry Awards

Ethnic restaurants from around the country have been honoured in the 2012 Asian Curry Awards.

Now in their second year, the awards recognise excellence from both the Bangladeshi and Indian catering sector as well as operators specialising in Chinese, Thai, Malaysian, Japanese, Nepalese and pan-Asian cuisines.

Yawar Khan, chairman of the Federation of Bangladeshi Caterers, which organises the Asian Curry Awards, said: "This year's awards were bigger than ever and a resounding success which has set a benchmark for the future. Our congratulations go to the winners across all categories. "
