Richoux Group to expand Dean's Diner and Zippers
The Richoux Group of 16 restaurants intends to focus on expanding its Dean's Diner and Zippers brands as it announced an increase profit and turnover for the 28 weeks to 14 July 2013.
Profit for the interim period rose to £800,000 from £620,000 during the same period in 2012, while turnover increased 13.5% to £5.84m from £5.14m, year-on-year.
Philip Shotter, chairman of the Richoux Group, said the company will be focusing on acquiring new sites for its Dean's Diner 1950's outlets and Zippers American restaurants as they are perceived "to offer the greatest scope for development within what is a congested and evolving restaurant market".
Richoux also operates two other brands - the Villagio Italian family concept with six restaurants in Andover, Basildon, Hammersmith, Berkhamsted, Chislehurst and Chiswick. Originally founded in 1909, the Richoux all-day cafés and brasseries operate in four London sites - St Johns Wood, Knightsbridge, Mayfair and Piccadilly.
