French chain Le Bistrot Pierre plans to double sites after finance deal
French restaurant chain Le Bistrot Pierre is planning to expand its site to 20 in the next five years following a multimillion-pound finance injection from bank NatWest, it has announced.
This will mark a doubling in the brand's estate, as it currently has 10 venues around the country, including in Nottingham and Plymouth.
The exact value of the deal has not yet been reported, but the company has said it is planning new openings in Bristol, Taunton, Newcastle and Leeds as a result of the finance, which came following advice from finance specialists Cooper Parry, who oversaw the final deal.
Sites in Birmingham and Torquay have already been decided.
Commenting on the expansion plans, Le Bistrot Pierre co-founder Robert Beacham said: "We have spent years creating a restaurant brand that is firmly focused on great value French dining and good food. We are very proud that this combination has proved to be the right mix and that it has enabled us to get to where we are now."
