Lusso achieves two-star SRA rating

City workplace caterer Lusso has achieved "two star champion" status with the Sustainable Restaurant Association (SRA).

The CH&Co business impressed with its commitment to using locally sourced fresh produce in season and its use of Red Tractor endorsed British dairy and meat products.

The SRA also highlighted Lusso's food sourcing awareness campaigns such as Ugly Fish Friday, Forgotten Fruit and Urban Dog, as well as the firm's ethically-minded approach to employment practices and its commitment to extensive staff training and development.

Paul Hurren, managing director of Lusso, commented: "This is really an excellent result for Lusso. We care deeply about the environment, sustainability and the way that we, as a business, interact with the world, and we knew that we were doing a pretty good job, but to have our endeavours officially recognized and endorsed by the SRA is a fantastic validation."
