McLean, who left the business in October, has been replaced by Gary Mann. Mann was financial controller at the business, but has now been promoted to finance director.

McLean was appointed as managing director of CAU in April 2012 and was tasked with leading the brand's expansion. Prior to that he had been finance and commercial director of Gaucho.

Meanwhile, Graham Hall, who joined CAU in spring 2013 as operations director will remain in that position and will head up the CAU operation and roll-out.

CAU currently has four restaurants, in Cambridge, Guildford, Blackheath, and Amsterdam in the Netherlands. Argentinian steak restaurant Gaucho has 14 UK sites, and one in Dubai. The group also runs Sucre in Buenos Aires, and Galante at Gaucho on Sloane Avenue in London.
