What's on the menu: Oliver Peyton's the Keeper's House impresses

Kofler & Kompanie's Magazine restaurant at the Serpentine Sackler Gallery in London's Hyde Park is reviewed by [Metro's](http://metro.co.uk/2013/11/14/all-the-serpentine-gallerys-the-magazine-is-missing-are-some-aliens-4185363/) Joe Warwick, who says that all that's missing from the Zaha Hadid-designed space is some aliens.

Commenting on head chef Oliver 'Ollysan' Lange's menu, Warwick finds the menu of sushi alongside modern European with a few wider Asian influences thrown in a bit "all over the place".

The [Observer's](http://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2013/nov/17/sichuan-folk-restaurant-review-jay-rayner) Jay Rayner hopes Sichuan Folk in London E1 stays as good as the night he ate there, describing it as "an absolute gem" and "a true collector's piece", but past experience means he advises a visit sooner rather than later.

Celia Plender reviews David Moore's new baby, Pieds Nus in London's Blandford Street, for [Time Out](http://www.timeout.com/london/restaurants/pieds-nus), and discovers artful food presentation and well considered flavours.

The Evening Standard'sGrace Dent gets a double shot of party spirit at Hoi Polloi in Shoreditch High Street, while David Sexton drops in on One Canada Square, which he says is trying to hard to make an impact.

Zoe Williams heads down to the Little Gloster on the Isle of Wight for the [Independent](http://www.telegraph.co.uk/foodanddrink/restaurants/10440717/The-Little-Gloster-Gurnard-Isle-of-Wight-restaurant-review.html) and now fully appreciates the concept of ‘what's not to like?'

Jason Atherton's Berner's Tavern comes in for mixed reviews this week. The [Guardian's](http://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2013/nov/16/restaurant-review-berners-tavern) Marina O'Loughlin is dazzled by the opulent surroundings and finds the food every bit as lovely, but a return visit is not so perfect. Writing in the [Sunday Times](http://www.thesundaytimes.co.uk/sto/Magazine/article1339407.ece), AA Gill's visit prompts him to declare that in life, love and dinner, the bigger the room, the smaller the pleasure.

HOTELS

The [Telegraph's](http://www.telegraph.co.uk/travel/hotel/121748/Dormy-House-hotel-Cotswolds-review.html) Fiona Duncan says the new look bedrooms at the re-launched Dormy House in Broadway, Worcestershire, are stunning, but found the service to be too intrusive.

Harriet O'Brien enjoys understated elegance and an excellent breakfast at the Glove House B&B in Woodstock, Oxfordshire, for the [Independent](http://www.independent.co.uk/travel/uk/bb-and-beyond-the-glove-house-woodstock-8930826.html).

At the Chapel in Bruton, Somerset, is a brilliant little place with friendly staff and a vibrant atmosphere, according to Tom Chesshyre in the [Times.
