Electrolux thermaline: a new era in premium modular cooking
With Electrolux Professional's thermaline solutions, chefs can have a kitchen that is exactly tailored to their menu, staff and level of output
Electrolux Professional has launched thermaline, a new premium range of modular cooking solutions and braising pans. Developed in Switzerland, the new horizontal cooking range is specifically designed for high productivity kitchens in fine dining restaurants and top hotels.
Thermaline combines a range of made to measure (M2M) solutions that can form an island unit in a kitchen, or as a unit against a wall, with a set of Prothermetic boiling and braising pans. The state-of-the-art equipment from Electrolux Professional will give chefs more than 40 different cooking options to choose from, delivering a complete system with specialist knowledge in each key area of the kitchen.
For chefs, being able to custom-build a kitchen to their own exact needs is a real appeal. With the thermaline's M2M solutions, a chef can have a kitchen that is completely tailored to their menu, staff and level of output.
The ergonomically designed thermaline M2M range includes Electrolux Professional's patented flush-mounted triple ring highly efficient flower flame burners that are unique to the market.
Other innovations include an aquacooker for multipurpose cooking (sous-vide, bain marie or pasta), a high power Charbroiler with a patented efficient gas heating system and a host of other innovations including induction tops and pass-through convection ovens.
The ProThermetic range of braising pans offers chefs the choice of product typology (tilting or stationary braising pans, pressure pans and boiling pans) and a user-friendly touchscreen control panel. Chefs can create up to 1,000 recipes, using the pans' programmable features, which can be saved on a USB stick and re-uploaded in different kitchens across a region or portfolio of outlets.
The new thermaline range was designed and manufactured at Electrolux Professional's ultramodern production and competence centre in Sursee, Switzerland. The Swiss facility is based on a geothermal concept and has sustainability at its core, a feature that translates into the new range of equipment.
Thermaline has been synonymous with quality in high-productivity kitchens for more than 140 years and the 'Swiss made' badge is a real mark of quality.
