Busaba Eathai sees double-digit turnover and profit growth

Busaba Eathai, the Thai restaurant chain founded by Alan Yau, has increased its annual turnover by 13.2% in the 2012-13 financial year, despite a "competitive" casual dining arena.

The company, which has 10 sites, recorded turnover of £23.78m. Group EBITDA climbed 11% to £2m.

During the year, the business also invested in a head office structure to support an accelerated growth programme in 2014. Two new openings are confirmed for summer 2014, with more to be announced both in and outside London in the coming months.
