Jurys Inn Chelsea rebranded to a DoubleTree by Hilton

Jurys Inn Chelsea has been re-branded to a DoubleTree by Hilton property and will operate under a franchise agreement.

The 172-bedroom will continue to be owned and managed by Jurys Inn following the announcement in November 2013 that three Jurys Inn properties in London would be rebranded as Hilton Worldwide hotels. Jurys Inn Islington will soon also take on the DoubleTree by Hilton badge, while the group's hotel at Heathrow will be rebranded as a Hilton Garden Inn, in December 2014.

John Brennan, chief executive of Jurys Inn Hotel Group, said that under the new branding, the hotel will be "optimising future revenues and delivering exceptional service" to guests.

The hotel, located on Imperial Road, Imperial Wharf, becomes the 10th DoubleTree by Hilton property in London. Worldwide, the brand has 370 hotels across 32 countries.

Jurys Inn owns and operates 31 hotels, including 25 in the UK, five in Ireland and one in Prague.

Students from the South Chelsea International College, studying travel, tourism and hospitality management, help the Jurys Inn team celebrate with a giant version of DoubleTree by Hilton's warm chocolate chip cookie welcome.
