Bartlett Mitchell picks up £3m catering contract with Three

Caterer Bartlett Mitchell has won a three-year deal with mobile network Three. The £3m contract will cover three sites for Three: two in the South East and one in Glasgow.

This will be the first operation for Bartlett Mitchell in Scotland, where the company will serve over 1300 customers a day.

Wendy Bartlett, managing director of Bartlett Mitchell described the deal as wonderful news, and added: "We are also excited to be running our first operation in Scotland. We already operate in the South from Kent to Bristol and this growth in the North is a good opportunity for us too."

Bartlett Mitchell will provide a range of services, including staff restaurant services, cafes and hospitality. The foodservice firm will welcome 18 new members.

Diana Kilmartin, director of property and facilities at Three said: "Bartlett Mitchell mobilised our contract across three sites in 30 days yet still achieved a high level of engagement during the TUPE process with the incumbent employees. The communications were frequent, clear and most importantly, considerate. The service delivery on all sites on day one was fabulous and created a buzz, prompting great feedback from our people."
