London has most hotel rooms under construction in Europe, says report

Greater London has 5,110 hotel rooms under construction - more than any other country in Europe - according to the July 2014 STR Global Construction Pipeline Report.
Other cities mentioned in the report include Istanbul, Turkey, which is constructing 4,798 rooms; Moscow (3,301); Greater Amsterdam (2,020); Hamburg (1,678); Greater Berlin (1,315); Greater Munich (1,127); and Vienna (1,093).
The data includes projects in construction, final planning and planning stages, but not projects in the unconfirmed stage.
