Las Iguanas to open two new sites

Las Iguanas is set to open two new restaurants this autumn - in Edinburgh at the end of September, and Derby in mid-October.

The new restaurant and bar in Edinburgh, located on the corner of George Street and Charlotte Square, is spread over the ground floor and basement of a building which was once a travel agent. Designed by Martin Brudnizki Design Studio, the ground floor features an open kitchen and cocktail bar.

Located on Friar Gate, the Derby site will feature a double-height atrium with tumbling foliage from which diners can watch the expert chefs at work. Designed by B3, the site features shades of coral, sage and mustard and also include an 18th century bakery, offering a more private dining area tucked away in the back of the main dining room complete with original clay oven.

Las Iguanas, which is run by co-founder Eren Ali, will have 37 sites in total once the new restaurants open their doors.
