Former Aubergine site to be called ‘Park Walk'

Gordon Ramsay Group is to name the former site of Aubergine in Chelsea as "Park Walk" when it opens a new restaurant there next year.

The site will take its name from its location at 11 Park Walk, according to GRG managing director Stuart Gillies (pictured), who was speaking to the Evening Standard ahead of the opening of Heddon Street Kitchen next month.

Commenting on taking on the site of the restaurant that launched Ramsay's career as a chef restaurateur, and where he subsequently won his first brace of Michelin stars, Gillies said: "Is it just a nostalgia trip? No," he said. "But it's nice to do things because you want to sometimes, nice to have choices that aren't just driven by the bank."
