Living Ventures to open two new Glasgow sites

Manchester-based restaurant and bar group Living Ventures Group is to open two new venues in Glasgow.

The business has taken two sites of 13,000 sq ft and 7,000 sq ft in Land Securities' Buchanan Galleries development.

The larger site will house a new Artisan Kitchen + Bar - the second such site, following the opening of Artisan in Manchester last year. The smaller site will contain The Alchemist. Living Ventures has four other sites under The Alchemist brand, with two in Manchester and one each in London and Leeds.

Living Ventures joins D&D London as one of the restaurant businesses to take space at the new development. D&D has already secured a 7,500 sq ft site, three years ahead of the development's opening in winter 2017.

Buchanan Galleries is expected to house more than 100 shops, 25 restaurants and a multi-screen cinema.
