Four Moxy hotels from Marriott International set for UK

It had previously announced the launch of a 200-bedroom Moxy in Aberdeen in 2016. This will now be joined by three properties in the capital, which will all also open in 2016. They are the 254-bedroom Moxy London Stratford, the Moxy London Heathrow Airport (425 bedrooms) and the Moxy London Royal Docks (164 bedrooms).

All the hotels are being developed by owner Vastint Hospitality and will be operated by Nordic Hospitality following the signing of a franchise agreement with Marriott.

Moxy launched its first property in Milan in September and is set to grow to a portfolio of 150 hotels worldwide over the next 10 years. Further hotels have been earmarked for Munich, Belin, Frankfurt and Oslo.

Key features of Moxy bedrooms include 42" LCD flatscreen televisions and free Wi-Fi, while the public areas incorporate a lounge with sealed concrete floors alongside a 24/7 café serving sandwiches, salads, fresh juice and coffee, cocktails and craft beers.
