Tender: Imperial War Museums (IWM)

15 December 2014
Tender: Imperial War Museums (IWM)

Imperial War Museums (IWM) seeks corporate hire and public catering partners for IWM Duxford, Churchill War Rooms and HMS Belfast.

2014 has marked a defining period in the history of IWM. We led this year's cultural programme for the start of the First World War Centenary commemorations and unveiled the £40 million transformation of our flagship branch IWM London to record breaking visitor numbers.

These major events increased our brand and profile across the UK and internationally and it will only continue to grow in the future with several significant anniversaries promising strong visitor numbers across IWM's family of five museums.

Our strategy focuses on the development of the visitor experience and brand engagement and we are now seeking partners to help us transform our catering and corporate events business by awarding two contracts covering IWM Duxford and Churchill War Rooms / HMS Belfast.

Our appointed partners will have responsibility for catering sales, marketing and operations for one or all of the contracts for an initial five or seven year period.

If you have a track record of working in partnership to deliver excellent visitor and brand experiences through your operational expertise in this sector, we would like to hear from you no later than 14 January 2015 when a tender document will be issued to all applicants.
