Sanguine Hospitality brings management of two hotels in-house

The management of two hotels developed by Sanguine Hospitality are to be brought in-house to provide more autonomy for both properties.

Nick Taplin, who is a director of Sanguine Hospitality and chairman and chief executive of New York Italian, said: "It's been a fantastic journey to develop and open these iconic hotels and the decision to bring the day-to-day operation of each venue in-house makes this a hugely exciting time. We are keen to have more presence in the business and speed up decision making processes and react a lot quicker to the hotels day-to-day needs and support.

"Each venue still has a lot of potential and the best way, we feel, to develop this is to give each management team the autonomy to make the decisions as they are the ones who know the venue and the location better than anyone else.

Sanguine Hospitality was founded in 2006 with the £26m development of Cadbury House. It opened Hotel Indigo on the 23rd and 24th floors of the Cube building in 2011.

Today the company operates a portfolio of hotels under several brands including Hilton Hotels & Resorts, Doubletree by Hilton, Hampton by Hilton, Hotel Indigo and Holiday Inn Express.
