Geronimo Inns launches takeaway pub

Geronimo Inns is to launch its first takeaway pub, offering a range of packaged dishes to commuters at St. Pancras International station.

The Curious Pig will allow customers to select from range of hot and cold food including Ploughman's boxes, pastries, soups, pies and hot dogs.

It will serve wine and draft beers, as well as selling half bottles of wine and cans of craft ale to take away.

Targeting commuters passing through the station, the site will be open from 7am to 10pm seven days a week.

Geronimo Inns managing director Ed Turner said: "This is a first for Geronimo Inns and one that I am very excited about. At Geronimo it's all about great wine, fresh seasonal food and beautiful design and I am delighted to be able to bring this to the commuters of St Pancras station as a sister venue to our very busy Betjeman Arms."
