Penzance hotel appeals for help over missing cat

Staff at a hotel in Penzance have appealed for help from the public amid fears that their beloved cat has been stolen.

Jerry the cat went missing from Hotel Penzance over a week ago, having lived at the hotel for years.

Worried staff posted a video on YouTube last week, which showed CCTV footage of the moment they believe the cat was stolen.

Text accompanying the video read: "On Tuesday 10th February at 10.27pm a person decided to steal our beloved Burman cat Jerry he is 12 years old and has been at the Hotel since he was a kitten if anybody knows of his whereabouts please contact us at reception@hotelpenzance.com."

It urged viewers to watch and share the video.

A reward is being offered for the return of Jerry and anyone with information is asked to call the hotel on 01736 363 117 or the police on 101.
