Beacon appoints new director of sales
Purchasing company Beacon has announced the appointment of Tennant Hilditch as its new director of sales.
Having worked in the hospitality industry for more than 25 years, both in the UK and internationally, including 12 years with Rentokil across a variety of divisions and 13 years with linen rental company, Fishers, Hilditch brings an array of skills and experience to the role.
His new role as director of sales will see him take responsibility for internal and external account management, as well as the retention and growth of Beacon's portfolio. Tennant's appointment follows the appointment of Andrew Denton as head of communications and Rob Payne as chief commercial officer, with the company aiming to grow extensively over the next 12 months.
Speaking of his new role, Tennant commented: "Throughout my career I've worked across a huge variety of sectors, everything from pest control to landscaping to linen rental. Working with Beacon gives me the opportunity to take my skills and experience from 25 years in this industry and apply it to Beacon's varied portfolio. I'm eager to get started and play a part in the continuing growth of the company and work with the team here to devise a solid strategy moving forward into 2015 to better support our customer base."
