Stone Manor hotel sold off guide price of £3m
The 57-bedroom Stone Manor hotel in Chaddesley Corbett, Worcestershire, has been sold for an undisclosed sum off an asking price of £3m.
It has been sold by the Dunn family, who have owned the property for 30 years and now plan to retire. The new owners, Andy and Helena Hogarth, owners of the four-AA-star, 49-bedroom Hogarths hotel in Dorridge, Solihull, now plan to refurbish Stone Manor.
The 1920s Tudor-style hotel, which includes an AA Rosette-awarded restaurant, is located within 22 acres of grounds in Worcestershire's Wyre Forest area.
The sale of the hotel was brokered by Christie + Co. Gavin Wright, director of the company's Birmingham office, said that the sale, was evidence of the "considerable improvement with buyer activity in the hotel sector".
