London-based company acquires Edinburgh aparthotel

The Knight Residence, an aparthotel in Edinburgh, has been acquired by Mansley Group Holdings, the owner of a number of serviced apartments in London and Inverness.

Comprising 28 serviced apartments, the property will be rebranded as the Knight Residence by Mansley.

The apartments - launched 15 years ago by husband and wife Colin and Jean Knight - are located near to Edinburgh Castle.

Sir Richard Rowley, chairman and chief executive of Mansley Group Holdings, described the acquisition as "an exciting expansion" for the company. "Like our serviced apartments in London, it is very centrally located and provides intimate accommodation backed by first class customer service."

Mansley Group Holdings owns three properties in Mayfair, one in Kensington and the 103 By the Bridge in Inverness, which it bought last year.
