Chris Corbin and Jeremy King inducted to the Hall of Fame
Chris Corbin and Jeremy King are among the hospitality heavyweights set to be recognised at the 2015 British Travel & Hospitality Hall of Fame awards dinner, organised by The Caterer.
The restaurateurs will be honoured alongside other industry leaders at London's Dorchester hotel on 13 April.
Run in partnership with The Caterer's sister brand, Travel Weekly Group, the Hall of Fame honours outstanding business achievement in the travel, hospitality, leisure and tourism sectors.
Other hospitality figures that will be inducted into the Hall of Fame include Jumeirah Group chief executive Gerald Lawless and the Travel Corporation chairman Stanley Tollman.
Meanwhile, former Whitbread managing director Patrick Dempsey will be presented with the 2015 Business Achievement of the Year Award.
He told The Caterer: "I am very grateful to be the recipient of this year's Business Achievement of the Year Award. It is particularly gratifying to receive this award as I step down from my position of managing director of Whitbread Hotels & Restaurants after 10 years.
"It has been a very exciting decade running Premier Inn during which we have built the UK's favourite hotel chain, doubled the size of the business to around 60,000 rooms and through the investment in the product and the passion of the team developed Premier Inn into a UK household brand. I am delighted to accept this award on behalf of all my colleagues at Premier Inn."
Tickets for the event are now on sale and cost £225 per person or £2,250 for a table of 10. For ticket enquiries, contact Helen Bush at helen.bush@travelweekly.co.uk, and for sponsorship enquiries please contact Mark Lewis at mark.lewis@thecaterer.com.
