Nathan Outlaw to create menu for the 2015 AA Hospitality Awards
Multi-Michelin-starred chef Nathan Outlaw is to create the menu for the 2015 AA Hospitality Awards.
The awards ceremony will be held at the Grosvenor House hotel in London on 5 October, to celebrate the achievements of the UK's AA-recognised hotels, pubs, and restaurants.
Outlaw himself has been awarded four AA Rosettes, and is the AA's current Chef's Chef, an award announced on the evening, which is voted for by other AA-rosetted chefs. Previous Chef's Chefs have included Pierre Koffman and Martin Wishart.
Commenting on this year's event, Outlaw said: "It's an honour to be asked to create the menu for such a prestigious event as the AA Hospitality Awards and I am looking forward to working with the team."
Simon Numphud, head of AA Hotel Services, said: "We know that our guests will be delighted to experience the exquisite food that Nathan is renowned for creating."
Tickets to the AA event can be bought via its website. Broadcaster and presenter Fiona Bruce has been announced as event host, and there will be 23 prizes from 11 different categories, including the AA Wine Award, the AA Hotel of the Year, AA Restaurant of the Year, and the AA Lifetime Achievement Award.
The AA celebrated its 100th anniversary of involvement in the hospitality industry in 2008, after its first Members' Handbook to the best hotels for motorists was published in 1908, and the now-standard star classification was started in 1912.
Outlaw is chef-patron at the two-Michelin-starred Restaurant Nathan Outlaw at Port Isaac, and he also operates Outlaw's at the Enodoc hotel, one-Michelin-starred Outlaw's Fish Kitchen, and the Mariners Rock (all in Cornwall) plus one-Michelin-starred Outlaw's at the Capital hotel, London.
