Toby Carvery closes for second time after norovirus outbreak
A Toby Carvery in Middlemoor, Exeter, which was shut for an outbreak of norovirus has been closed again, two days after it reopened.
The restaurant was closed on Tuesday 7 April after fears of an outbreak but reopened on Friday 10 April.
However, it shut again on 12 April along with the adjoining hotel. A spokeswoman for owner Mitchells and Butlers told the BBC the move was "due to technical difficulties".
She said the business was working with environmental health officers but was unable to say when it would reopened.
The sickness bug is thought to have affected customers and staff between 30 March and Easter Sunday.
On Friday 10 April, the firm said: "Environmental health officers and the business were confident that the virus had been eradicated and the carvery re-opened at 12 o'clock."
