Roomzzz Aparthotel launch Chester property with new look

Roomzzz Aparthotel has opened its sixth property in Chester with what it describes as an "evolutionary" new concept.

The £5.5m conversion of an office space into a 64-bedroom aparthotel features multiple penthouse suites, all with rooftop balconies overlooking the racecourse, and new interiors across its bedrooms, living areas and kitchens.

It joins the existing portfolio of Roomzzz properties in Leeds, Manchester and Newcastle, which have all undergone a £2m refurbishment to bring them in line with the company's new look.

Established in 2006, Roomzzz Aparthotels aims to offer luxurious but affordable accommodation. Prices start at £60 per night in the Chester property.

Mark Walton, head of Roomzzz Aparthotel, said the company's vision for guests, who are typically professionals looking to stay long term, is to stay ahead of competitors in terms of offer, value and satisfaction.

"The main features of Roomzzz new generation include spacious interior styling in all apartments with ultra-modern kitchen and living areas plus branded bathroom amenities with a bespoke blend of botanics," he said.

Roomzzz Nottingham City will launch next month, with further openings scheduled for Stratford in London, Liverpool, York and Harrogate.
