Renaissance Pubs renamed as the Three Cheers Pub Co
South London-based Renaissance Pubs company has been renamed the Three Cheers Pub Co as part of a rebrand following a trademark dispute.
The group, which was founded by friends Tom Peake, Mark Reynolds and Nick Fox, owns seven pubs across London. The new name will be communicated via printed materials on-site, through managers and floor staff, and online via competitions and offers.
It has also seen the new name as a chance to create additions to its menu, including a new pale ale in collaboration with the London Beer Factory, a new weekend menu, and a home-produced elderflower cordial.
Italian executive chef Massimo Tebaldi has also introduced a choice of charcuterie plates exclusive to the group, inspired by his childhood in Liguria, from Kent-based producer Moons Green, including chilli-cured lomo and thyme-rosemary coppa.
New cocktails to herald the re-launch include the Peake, the Fox and a Bloody Reynolds, named after the three founders.
The rebranding has also been an opportunity for the group to carry out wider renovations on a clutch of its sites.
Founded in 2003, the group celebrated its 12th birthday this year, the company launched hotel rooms above its Kennington pub, the Tommyfield, late last year.
