Holiday Inn Express Aberdeen Airport to open

The 193-bedroom Holiday Inn Express Aberdeen Airport hotel is to open tomorrow (8 May).

Owned and operated by Dominvs Hospitality, the hotel comes ahead of the company's opening of the 165-bedroom Crowne Plaza Aberdeen Airport hotel, set for August this year.

Sean Brookes, chief operating officer at Dominvs Hospitality, said: "Aberdeen is an ever-expanding force in the business tourism sector and this new quality Holiday Inn Express Aberdeen Airport hotel will be a great boost to the city."

The Holiday Inn Express Aberdeen Airport will offer an all-day restaurant and bar, a meeting room, and 251 parking spaces.

Its opening marks the latest stage in the brand's ongoing expansion scheme, having opened over 2,000 hotels in the past 10 years.

Dominvs Hospitality has a UK pipeline of hotel construction including in Aberdeen, Manchester, Oxford and London. Overall, there are 2,365 Holiday Inn Express hotels around the world and 522 the development pipeline set for the next two to three years.
