Crown Partnership announces growth plans amid rebrand

Crown Partnership, the new name for Crown Group, has announced plans to create 100 new jobs over the next two years.

The employment opportunities will come through the company's business brands, including catering arms Seasoned, Kudos and Kudos Delivered.

Increased demand at Crown's venue partners, including the Science Museum, Chichester hotel, Flitch of Bacon and Ware Priory, was credited for the aim to grow the team.

Crown also announced Morgan's Farm, a new venture launched in conjunction with two-Michelin starred chef Daniel Clifford, who sits on the Crown board.

Located in Norton Heather, Essex, the farm will grow produce to supply both Midsummer House and Flitch of Bacon. It will also feature a delicatessen shop selling homemade produce, a fishery, a purpose built 300-capacity venue and a Daniel Clifford cookery school.

In addition, the company is hoping to build on the success of its apprenticeship scheme, which has managed 15 apprenticeships since launching in 2005, by achieving its highest number of placements this year.

Charles Beer, senior partner at the Crown Partnership, said: "It's a busy time for the Partnership and taking on new staff is imperative to keep us moving in the right direction. Not only do we invest in new staff, we continue to work with and develop our current employees, with a big focus on promoting internally."

Founded 40 years ago, Crown Partnership provide catering, hospitality and event services and is formed of nine partners.
