Mayor of London among speakers at Hospitality and Tourism Summit
Mayor of London Boris Johnson is among a high level line up of speaking appearing at this year's Hospitality and Tourism Summit.
Among the industry leaders that will join the mayor will be BaxterStorey chairman Alastair Storey, Northern Ireland trade minister Arlene Foster and Accor managing director Thomas Dubaere.
The theme for this year's event, which takes place at the Novotel London West on 30 June 2015, is "The Game Changer".
The British Hospitality Association said that all three million people working in the hospitality industry was a game changer, with the power to influence the identity of the industry.
It said: "How can we, as individuals and as businesses, harness the values which are at the heart of our people to better serve our customers, reach new customers and the community at large? How can we identify the converging interests of our industry to leverage social innovation, and to influence change, in particular policy reform to ensure a level playing field for our community within an internationally competitive context?"
The event will be a forum to discuss how the sector can innovate and push the boundaries of service.
