Former Scotsman hotel chef joins the Adamson
Paul Hart, the former executive chef of the Scotsman hotel in Edinburgh, has been appointed the new head chef of the Adamson restaurant and bar in St Andrews.
Hart replaces Scott Davies, a finalist in BBC's MasterChef: The Professionals in 2013, who made the move to the Three Chimneys restaurant on the Isle of Skye in March this year.
Previously head chef at the Old Course hotel in St Andrews until he made the move to the Scotsman five years ago, Hart has also worked at Chapter One in Kent, Belmond Le Manoir aux Quat' Saisons, Bibendum in London and Moody Goose in Bath. He is also a former winner of "Scottish Hotel Chef of The Year" as well as the Which Good Food Guide "Scottish Newcomer of The Year".
He added: "The Adamson has had an incredible year - and the addition of a stunning cocktail bar earlier this Spring demonstrates the team's passion and determination to be the very best."
Originally from Llangollen, Hart, 40, lived in the north Wales town until 21 when he left to work in restaurants around the UK.
