Welsh Food award for Zorba Delicacies
Zorba Delicacies, a manufacturer of chilled dips and sandwich fillers, and owner of the wholesale fresh soup manufacturer The Real Soup Co, has been named Chilled Food Manufacturer of the Year at the inaugural Welsh Food Awards in Cardiff.
Designed to recognise and celebrate the best in Welsh food and hospitality, the awards follow in the footsteps of their Scottish and English counterparts and shine the spotlight on a host of food manufacturers, restaurants and hotels. Members of the public were invited to nominate and vote for their favourite names in the world of Welsh food.
Rhys George, commercial director for Zorba Delicacies, commented: "Naturally we're delighted to be recognised in this way and accept the award on behalf of all our staff who work so hard to create and manufacture our award-winning products."
