Carom restaurant to relocate while site undergoes fire repair

Indian restaurant Carom is to relocate while its London Wardour Street site is refurbished and repaired following a fire that gutted the building.

On 8 May fire engines were called to the Soho address of D&D London restaurants Carom and Floridita, after a fire ripped through a restaurant kitchen on the ground floor as well as a second kitchen in the basement of the building.

To continue trading while works take place to repair the venue, Carom has partnered with Madison London to host a pop-up on the 6th floor rooftop of One New Change in St Paul's.

It is not yet known when Carom will return to its original site, but the pop-up is expected to run throughout the summer.

The menu at One New Change will feature small dishes and larger plates, including king scallop roasted in shell with pepper and chilli, chicken winglet lollipops with a Goan dip and Carom's signature chicken biryani.
