Scott Hallsworth's Bodrum restaurant to open on 15 June

Chef-restaurateur Scott Hallsworth, whose restaurants include Kurobuta on the King's Road and Marble Arch in London, is to open his new venture in Turkey next week.

Kurochan will launch in the Mandarin Oriental in Bodrum on 15 June.

As with Hallsworth's other ventures, the restaurant will offer a menu inspired by the traditional izakayas of Japan, with a range of tapas-style sharing plates which include sushi and sashimi, tempura, fresh fish, seafood and steaks, together with a selection of robata barbecue-style grills and options for vegetarian guests.

The restaurant, which has a view of the resort's main beach, will also offer contemporary and classic cocktails from the Kurochan bar, as well as international and local wines and draught beers.
