Levy Restaurants wins £5m Weston Park deal

Levy Restaurants has won a £5m deal to deliver events at Shropshire stately home Weston Park.

The five-year deal will see the sports, leisure and hospitality division of Compass Group provide a range of events and retail catering services as well as operating the Granary Grill & Deli, a restaurant and café.

It is the first time that Weston Park has outsourced its catering facilities.

As part of the deal Lime Venues Portfolio, the sales and marketing arm of Levy Restaurants, will work with the on-site team to market weddings, corporate meetings and private parties.

Levy Restaurants leisure business director Jonathan Davidson said: "Weston Park is a truly unique venue that has always offered the best in class catering, to reflect the unique nature of the estate and the calibre of the events held at the venue.

"We're delighted to be the first external company to become Weston Park's official catering partner and we look forward to forming a winning partnership that will maintain and enhance their exceptional standards."

Weston Park Foundation chief executive Colin Sweeney added: "We're delighted with our decision to work with Levy Restaurants UK to provide our venue catering, as we believe they are the right partner to support our growth through their experience and expertise."

Located in Weston-under-Lizard, Shropshire Weston Park, the former ancestral seat of the Earl of Bradford, is owned and maintained by the Weston Park Foundation, an independent charitable trust.
