Wetherspoon to open four pubs on same day
Pubco JD Wetherspoon has announced plans to open four pubs across the UK and Ireland on the same day in July.
Tuesday 21 July will see the company launch the Old Borough in Swords, near Dublin, the Jolie Brise in Teignmouth, the Golden Hope in Sittingbourne and the Queen's Head in Tavistock.
The Tavistock pub will also feature a 12-bedroom hotel.
Wetherspoon is expected to have opened six pubs in total by the end of the month, with a combined investment of £12m and the creation of 350 jobs.
The North Western was opened at Liverpool Station last week (7 July), while the Steel Foundry is planned to launch in Sheffield tomorrow (July 14).
