Meat & Shake to give away 1,000 free burgers to launch new Ealing restaurant

Smokehouse restaurant group Meat & Shake will be giving away 1,000 free burgers to celebrate the opening of its new site in Ealing.

The 2,300 sq ft Ealing restaurant, which will officially open on 15 August, is the second for the business, having opened its first in Tooting, London, in late 2013. It will be based at 17a The Green in what was formerly a Café Rouge and will cater for 100 covers.

The restaurant will allocate 500 free burgers for the opening day with a further 500 being given away the following day.

Meat & Shake's new menu has been developed by executive chef Jasper Aykroyd, who draws from his experience in the curing and flavouring of meats. Dishes will include par-cured beef ribs, crab claws and prawns, and smoked chicken.

Alongside shakes such as peanut butter, brownie and banana, and salted caramel, there will also be a selection of mocktails, including a watermelon mojito and ginger peach fizz.

Meat & Shake is expected to launch a third branch in Watford in September.
