Vacherin predicts 25% surge in annual turnover

Boutique London caterer Vacherin said it expects to grow its annual turnover by 25% to more than £17m, up from £13.8m at the 2014 financial year end.

The company has picked up a number of substantial new clients, including law firm Dechert, the Battersea Power Station Redevelopment Corporation, Nordic bank SEB, integrated shipping services provider Clarksons and international consultancy and construction company Mace.

Vacherin will deliver a range of catering services to these clients, such as cafés, staff restaurants, hospitality and fine-dining.

Phil Roker, owner and commercial director at Vacherin, said: "This has been a great year so far for Vacherin and we're not even finished yet. We've been told by several of these new clients that they chose us because the ‘cultural and personality understanding and fit' was a winning factor and that's really encouraging.

"There are a number of trends we see evolving too. There is a greater desire to bring more interaction into the dining experience, so we have introduced several new ideas including open kitchens with theatre cooking, a chef's table, and inspiring dining areas to create an all-day welcoming environment.

"All of these wins are fantastic additions to our client portfolio and the team is very excited about the potential these partnerships present. These businesses are investing in their catering provision and we are delighted to be part of the process."

Vacherin, which was founded 13 years ago, last year reported a 20% rise in turnover to £13.8m, which at the time was the company's most successful year to date.
