Vivek Singh's Michelin-starred restaurant the Cinnamon Club in St James's, London, has reopened following a £1m refurbishment ahead of its 15th anniversary.

It closed for six weeks at the beginning of August this year.

There will also be a three-course set feast for tables of four or more, including dishes such as Kerala-spiced seafood bisque flamed with brandy; banana chilli with fenugreek, raisin and bitter gourd in chickpea batter; and desserts such as spiced banana tarte tatin with thandai ice-cream.

Cinnamon Club classics remain on the menu, including the wild Spencer Gulf king prawns with coconut ginger sauce and red quinoa; and clove-smoked grouse breast with tawa mince and black lentils.

The drinks menu will also focus on a wide variety of gins, including many sourced from small-batch UK producers, and cocktails including the Aromatic Martini (Monkey 47, Belsazar vermouth and tea bitters), Spicy Affair (Tanqueray 10, saffron and chamomile), and the Affinity (mango-infused Scotch Whisky, vermouth, herbal liqueurs and bitters).

A new gin punch will also be available to share between four guests, made from Star of Bombay, Grand Marnier Cuvée Du Cent Cinquantenaire, and a bottle of Krug Grande Cuvée.

The Cinnamon Club was first launched in 2001 by Singh and business partner Iqbal Wahhab. The group also comprises the Cinnamon Kitchen and Cinnamon Soho.
