The Lanesborough appoints Stephan Boesch as hotel manager
Management company Oetker Collection has appointed Stephan Boesch as hotel manager of the five-red-AA-star, 93-bedroom Lanesborough hotel in London.
Boesch, who has been with Oetker Collection for 10 years, will be working alongside managing director Geoffrey Gelardi in a new role at the recently reopened Lanesborough, following a 19-month refurbishment costing more than £60m.
Originally from Germany, Boesch began working at Brenners Park Hotel & Spa as revenue manager in 2005. He was promoted to resident manager in 2007 and then to his most recent position of hotel manager in 2011.
He has an executive MBA from ICN Business School and EM Strasbourg Business School.
Didier Le Calvez, chief operating officer at the Oetker Collection, said: "In his last ten years at the Brenners Park Hotel & Spa, Stephan has shown his loyalty and leadership taking an important role in planning, building and opening Villa Stéphanie, here in Baden-Baden.
"His appointment is fully deserved and I wish him all possible success at the Lanesborough, the latest masterpiece of Oetker Collection."
Gelardi added: "I am pleased to welcome Stephan to the Lanesborough and I am sure he will bring significant contribution to the opening of the hotel and its future success."
Oetker Collection has nine properties in its worldwide portfolio.
