InterContinental London – the O2 reveals F&B team
Last month, the hotel announced details of its five restaurants and bars - Meridian Lounge, Clipper bar, Market brasserie, Peninsula restaurant and Eighteen Sky Bar.
Daren Pavey has been appointed as executive head chef across all dining and banqueting operations. He has worked for Arora, the hotel's management company and owner, for seven years, overseeing conference and banqueting operations and fine dining. A 30-year veteran of the industry, he has also held senior chef roles at Radisson Edwardian Hotel London Heathrow and InterContinental Sydney.
Michael Sodah joins the hotel as executive sous chef from his previous roles at Park Plaza Westminster Bridge hotel and Sofitel London Terminal 5. With nearly 15 years in the industry, Andor Karadi joins as food and beverage manager from the InterContinental London Park Lane, where he worked as restaurant and bar operations manager. He also previously worked at Fairmont St Andrews, in various food and beverage leadership positions over eight years.
Other new members of the team include Adrian Camp who joins as restaurant manager for the hotel's Market brasserie, Sushant Rana as bar manager of Eighteen Sky Bar and Roland Bathge as bar manager of the Clipper Bar.
