Homeslice to open third site

Pizza restaurant business Homeslice is to open its third site, this time in London's Shoreditch.

The new 100-cover venue is set to open on 5 December at 374-378 Old Street.

Set across two floors, the site also has an outdoor courtyard, a takeaway area and bar-style seating overlooking the restaurant's open kitchen.

Homeslice, founded by Ry Jessup and Mark Wogan in 2011, started life with a hand-built wood-fired oven in the courtyard of London Fields brewery.

It opened its first permanent site at 13 Neal's Yard in London in 2013, before its second restaurant and cocktail bar at 52 Wells Street in Fitzrovia launched in September 2015.

The firm sells 20″ pizzas, available whole or by the slice.

"We're excited to be returning to Shoreditch with our latest site; having started life serving up slices at street food markets across east London it feels good to be returning to the neighbourhood where it all started," the pair said.
