Gather & Gather wins five-year contract with Vodafone worth £40m

Gather & Gather, the catering brand of facilities management firm Mitie, has secured a five-year contract with Vodafone worth approximately £40m in total turnover.

The company will cater for 9,000 Vodafone UK employees every day across 12 locations, after seeing off tough competition from BaxterStorey in the final tender process.

Compass Group previously held a catering contract with Vodafone UK, the UK business of global telecommunications company Vodafone Group.

The Gather & Gather team said it demonstrated how it tailors foodservice to individual clients, supports regional suppliers, and prioritises learning and development, sustainability and an intelligent investment plan for the future.

Vodafone selected Gather & Gather as it felt the company was well-placed to create inspirational dining spaces, with a focus on serving healthy and nutritious meals, for its employees.

"We are looking forward to working with Vodafone, and alongside our colleagues who already deliver IFM services, which offers us even more opportunity to make a difference. Everyone's massively up for it - we can't wait to get stuck in."
