MasterChef finalist's business goes bust
The takeaway business owned by MasterChef 2013 finalist Larkin Cen in Cardiff has gone into administration.
Hokkei opened in 2013, but has not been open since Christmas.
Cen opened Hokkei as a pop-up venue at Celtic Manor in Newport for four days when the takeaway opened in 2013.
It was announced last year that Cen would open as a permanent site at the hotel in late January, serving dishes ranging from steamed bao buns filled with hoisin duck or pork belly to sharing platters of Peking duck and Korean fried chicken.
The new restaurant, called Cen, will take over the current Le Patio bistro site at Celtic Manor.
Speaking about the restaurant last year, Cen said: "Cen means innovation and forward thinking in Chinese and, coupled with the fact that I have always had the complete support from my family in pursuing my dream, it seemed fitting that the restaurant should be given my family name.
"I'm incredibly excited to be launching a restaurant at the Celtic Manor. The Celtic Manor has a reputation for fine dining and I'm over the moon to be working with the culinary team at the resort to bring a different Asian food experience to the diners' tables."
