Tenby's Fourcroft hotel on the market for more than £1m

The 40-bedroom family-run Fourcroft hotel and restaurant in Tenby, Pembrokeshire has been put up sale for offers in excess of £1m.

Since being converted to a hotel in the early 1940s, the property has remained in the same family ever since.

It is part of a listed Georgian terrace offering and overlooks the town's harbour and Carmarthen Bay.

Peter Brunt, hotel director at Colliers International, who is selling the hotel on behalf of a private client, said: "Tenby has always been a favourite resort for visitors to Pembrokeshire, and this hotel, with its fabulous views and beautiful private gardens leading down to the beach, is a very well-established destination for Wales, the Midlands and further afield.

"With major employers in the area, the hotel also offers well established commercial trade."

The property is close to the walled town centre, with the majority of bedrooms overlooking the bay.

Ossie Morgan's restaurant has sea views and seating for up to 100 and there is also a conservatory, outdoor swimming pool and meeting rooms.
