Prem Group launches two sub-brands for serviced apartment portfolio

The Dublin-based Prem Group is refreshing its collection of serviced apartments with the launch of two sub-brands: Premier Suites and Premier Suites Plus.

It is also expanding its collection to Scotland for the first time with the opening of Premier Suites Plus Glasgow, which brings its total number of suites to 600 across 13 locations.

The Prem Group now has nine serviced apartments in the UK in Birmingham, Bristol, Liverpool, London, Manchester, Newcastle and Nottingham, as well as Glasgow. It also owns the 89-bedroom Leopold hotel in Sheffield, which it is currently selling for £4m.

Guests of Premier Suites Plus will offer all the features of Premier Suites with the addition of a concierge service and free high speed Wi-Fi. There are currently four Premier Suites Plus properties in Bristol Cabot Circus and Glasgow, as well as two locations in Dublin.

Jim Murphy, chief executive of the Prem Group said: "Premier Suites and Premier Suites Plus offer a home away from home experience to extended stay and independent-minded business and leisure guests with a choice of accommodation offerings and facilities in popular locations.

"We are aiming to have 20 properties under the Premier Suites brand by the end of 2017 and are looking at a pipeline of locations in major cities across Europe, including Belgium and the Netherlands."

Launched in 1996, Prem Group operates 43 hotels and serviced apartments in the UK, Ireland, Belgium, France and The Netherlands.
