Ennismore – owner of Gleneagles and the Hoxton hotels – is to launch two new standalone restaurants in London this summer.

Dumpy Lynn, which will serve dumplings, and Tandoor Chop House will join Eggbreak, the first independent restaurant from Ennismore, which opened in Notting Hill last year.

Located on Goswell Road in Clerkenwell, the 45-seat Dumpy Lynn will offer dumplings accompanied by a selection of sauces and side dishes, within a simple setting. It is expected to sit between the capital’s casual and fine-dining dim sum restaurants and will offer take-out options.

Tandoor Chop House will combine dishes found in a traditional English chop house with the spices of Northern India, with a tandoor oven at its heart. It will have 50 seats and open on Adelaide Street in Covent Garden.

Eggbreak – specialising in egg-based dishes – originally opened as a joint venture with Soho House & Co. However, it is now solely owned and operated by Ennismore, as will be the two new restaurants. Soho House & Co continues to operate the restaurants within the Hoxton hotels.

As well as growing its restaurant portfolio, Ennismore, founded in 2011 by Sharan Pasricha (pictured), is also expanding the Hoxton brand, which currently numbers three hotels in Shoreditch, Holborn and Amsterdam. It is also considering how to transform Gleneagles, the iconic hotel in Perthshire, which it acquired in June last year for around £200m.
