Lexington launches Grains & Greens vegetarian range

Lexington Catering has launched a range of vegetarian and vegan options under its new brand Grains & Greens.

It will feature a selection of vegetarian main dishes including a carrot, beetroot, brown rice and mixed seed burger and cauliflower & cumin fritters.

Meals will contain protein-rich meat alternatives and the range will also offer wellness snack bars.

Grains & Greens, which is currently being launched across Lexington sites, will have its own branding to allow customers to easily identify vegetarian options.

Rob Kirby, chef director at Lexington said: "We've always worked hard to provide a variety of vegetarian options in our restaurants and cafés but wanted to take it a step further with our new brand, Grains & Greens.

"Our team of development chefs have created some superb recipes to ensure we provide customers with an amazing range of tasty and hearty veggie options. The range is not just for vegetarians, it will be enjoyed by anyone who loves food."

He added: "Food trends show more people are watching what they eat during the working week, and graze throughout the day, so that they are free to go for it at the weekend. Our new Grains & Greens range provides our customers with more choice and supports them in eating more healthy but tasty dishes Monday toFriday."
